| PBX and its programming
Thanks for the reply smaunsell; I am less than 12 mths in this job and is learning bits and pieces from contractors and folks like you and other bloggers; what you have explained is way over my head;some acronyms I am getting used too while others I ask for the meaning;
I am working with a Coral ISBX system from Tadiran Telecom; am not sure if this is an antique or a recent unit; TMC(where I work) is Traffic Management Center so the phone system is the lifeline here as operators get calls from the public for traffic problems; these operators are in a boss group and the supervisors have silent monitoring; there is also an ACD(Auto Call Distribution)
unit for calls;
this might be too much explanation, but I am giving a heads-up of the situation I am in and why I may ask some trival questions that may be common to most Techs
