Thanks for the info - yes, we definitely have DIDs. I would love to use those instead, however, this particular client has both the POT main number and the 800 number given out to all their clients (large investment firm) that they do not want to change. Therefore, between the grandfathered SL1 to a 61C combo PBX with no maintenance agreement with a vendor, I'm becoming well-versed in band-aids

Any other ideas? I will see at least about getting the 800 number pointed to a DID.
