| What controller are you using? On the 3300 this will be easy - use the Multiline Set Assignment form and go to the extension you are swapping out. Simply change the device type and then swap the phone. The extension number, programmed keys and any hunt groups etc will all move over to the new set.
The only time you need to be careful doing it this way is if you are putting in a new set that has less keys than the old one - you can lose some programmed keys if there are less available buttons on the new set
I haven't seen an SX2000 for a while but it should be similar. Let me know how you get on. |
