In a normal voice mail scenario, the voice mail unit will send a message via the data link to the SL-100 to turn the lamp on and off for a particular DN. The DN must have a OE so the SL-100 can send a message down the line (for CLASS message waiting or business sets) or used a power card to light an old fashion bee hive lamp. If the phone is truely wireless, how does it interface with the SL-100. If it is a PRI interface, then you can send a message down the D-channel to the "PBX" to light the lamp via table MSGRTE. |
