Partner II true "DID" service not possible

I dontl think you can do this with a Partner II using a true DID trunk, the Partner II system only supports analog trunks and not trunks with DID signalling (outopulsing digits inband on analog DID trunks) The newer Partern ACS releases support a 1600 module wihich provides DID service and supports 16 trunks. That work work, but of course is a substantial upgrade to what you are working with, The newer ACS procesors also have PCMIA cardslots and Avaya makes a ASA/DXD (I may have that name skight incorrect) card that allows auto system answer and prompts the caller to enter an extension number, but that is an additional step you are looking to advoid. Another option, but its goingto eat up probably more CO ports than you have , would be to order seperate lines for each person who needs a direct line. Those can be programemd to ring directly to extensions on a line button, problem is cost of all those lines, system capacity for additional lines, and only 1 path for incoming calls per line, meaning if you had 1 line for Mr Smith and Mr Smith had 2 simultanous calls, clll # 2 woudl get a busy unless you provisioend call waiting.
Bottom line, what you are tryingto do is just about impossible (and certainly impractial) with this vintage of Partner system
