Hoping someone knows the answer to this. I have a customer who I recently installed a Partner ACS R7 (5x9) replacing an old Partner Plus. With the old PM VS R3 everything worked great. The PM R3 died afetr 10 + years of faithful service. Installed a refurbn VS R5, compatibility issues with R5 and the ACS R7, (with Do Not Distrub),
OK, so I replaced the VS R5 with a Partnmer Messaging R 1 with a 2 port card. Big problem, when calling into on a co line , all lines defined in the system answer and the callis transferred to ext 10. Tried the PM R1 in my "lab" system in the shop which is a ACS R6, same issues all 3 lines inthe system light up red as the voicemail has "answered".
I had the vendore send me another PMR1 and same problem, Internally you can call it record greetinsg etc etc, I have 4 extensions setup in it and the hunt groups set correctly.
Both the customers system as well as my lab system have the old sytle beigh Partner 5 slot carrier. I've heard that this old carrier may have compatibiity issues with the newer ACS R7 and vociemail.
Anybody have any thought onthis?
