| NEC's PC assistant will work with outlook contacts!! I have set it up and it works very well with outlook and does not require CTU adapter in phone. Just enter the IP address of the PBX CPU and the IP address of the server. All done with TCPIP. No USB cords or adapters. You install the 'server' software on 1 machine that is always on and can act as the server, then the client is installed on all other machines (requires a licence, like viewmail). If only one user, the server and client can be installed on 1 machine. Allows one touch dialing from outlook contacts, but does NOT work well with ACT 2005 or 2007 for the outbound calls. It will however screen pop ACT or Outlook contact on inbound call. D Last edited by Doghart; 04-03-2008 at 10:54 PM. |
