I guess what I'm understanding is that the backup might fit on one floppy.
I'm also understanding that only the active CPU does a backup to floppy.
I'm still somewhat confused about how the synchronization works.
Obviously, when the CPUs switch at midnight they have to contain the same data. Exactly how does that process work?
