| I won't comment on whether or not this is technically possibly, I am fairly sure this is not supported by Nortel. When upgrading a mirror drive system, make sure you or your vendor has Nortel support. I know from personal experience that this procedure has specific step by step procedures. Get a good backup before you start, and make sure your vendor has the reimaging disks for 3.7 and 4.0. Make sure to run the 3.7 to 4.0 pre upgrade tool (health check for 4.0 upgrade). Most of my 4.0 upgrades have been a cakewalk, a few have been a world of fast food and late nights in a server room. If you decide to fly without support or a vendor, you are asking for it.
