| Religious leanings have nothing to do with it. You stated facts, indisputable facts. Revisionist history is our downfall. You don't have to like the past but, you can't/shouldn't try to change or ignore it. If you do either, then you are doomed to relive it over and over. When I visited Rome, I came across a monument to the priest that contributed "virgin birth" to the holy doctrine. I don't recall his name or the date ( I have a friend going to Rome in another month. She is going to find it and write it down for me.) But, that was his brain child. That was not part of the original dogma. It was a development that met a need/goal of the church at that time. Fact! People get very uncomfortable when the facts don't point to a Normal Rockwell pretty picture. I get that. It is a weakness that most folks have. rlc __________________ No matter where you go, there is the Ladies Love Marty Fan Club. :bow2: :bow2: :bow2: |
