As far as the pauses, they are usually put in to make the phone system wait a specific period of time before doing the next command. Sometimes what the phone system is talking to is not as fast and needs the time to get ready for the next input. In the Definity each pause is 1.5 seconds so it is probably the same in a Partner. __________________
