Hi there. I have had some experiance with programming the Voicemail card on the CIX40, obviously with some problem in the beginning.
I was using a USB serial adapter and trying to connect to the VM board, using a serial-to-rj11 lead supplied by our Tosh supplier.
However with several failed attempts, I consulted a few Tosh "experts" who said that the usb adapters aren't powered well by the PC and hence the Uadmin software does not successfully achieve a complete communication with the VM board. To be able to program the board you need to have a built in serial port on your laptop. I did this, and it all work perfect!
