| The CPU for the IPS (CP-24) should have 2 serial ports on the front. (small square connectors with pins sticking out towards you).
One is typically used for MATworx connection, the other can be assigned to be SMDR.
If you do this though, you will not be able to use the built in modem on the CPU for remote maintenance. When you flip dip sw4 on thpu card to enable the modem it will disable the SMDR output.
I am not sure if you can use the CPU port for PMS connection.
The card typically used for a PMS connection is the AP-00.
