| Please, I need some help My previous thread has many views but no answers. Please let me rephrase my question and what it is I would like to achive. I have a Partner ACS R# with VMS I have a total of six lines where: Line 1 is set to Groupo Call distribution - Group 1 Lines 2-6 are set to Group 7 - VMS I have one Pick-up group assigned to Ext 10 I have one Calling Group assigned to all extensions includion 10 I have Three hunt groups (Hunt group 6 (ext 76), 7 (Ext 78 and 79), and 8 set to none). In hunt group 7 for VMS, line one is not selected but 2-6 are, not sure why When a call comes in there is a quick beep while the user listens to the greeting and decides if he/she want to dial an extension or be transferred to the operator (ext 10). If the user is transferred to the operator, and there is no operator, then it will ring and eventually go into voicemail unless the someone happens to hear the ring and will pickup. I would like the system to do the following: User hears greeting and decides what he wants to do (dial ext, or transfer into 10 (operator). If the user dials into 10 I want our employees to see and hear (very important) the call so they can pick up. Currently when 10 is selected, you cannot hear the phone rininging at other extensions. If this is not possible (I don't see why it wouldn't be), then I would like if extension 10 is selecetd, the call is transferred to other extensions so they could pick-up. If the call is not answered after a set number of extension are rung, and the amount of rings is set to lets say four rings per extension, then the call is transfered to voice mail. Is this what they mean by the Hunt group? but how do I do a hunt group on an extension that actually is selected or rings into extension 10 first. Can someone please help me. Although there are manuals of avaya resources, they are very confusing and I can't find information on what I need to do. Thanks, Greg |
