Telco can't delete all ten digits because you will never get the call. What they do is use DNIS to route calls from toll free numbers. Let us say you have number 800-234-5678. Tell your local vendor that when a call comes in directed to that number that they are to redirect it to the DID that you want the call to come in on. That DID is where you assign the VDN for call handling.

If you want each toll free number to be answered in a different way, have the CO give each one its' own DID coming to you. That way you can set it up to do anything you want.
