I've been a "phone guy" for 7 years, I started out pulling cable then moved up to residential and SMB cabling with POTS. I then moved on to working mainly on Toshiba and NEC for the next five years. For the last two exclusively I've worked on Nortel and Meridian. I manage an Option 81 that has VOIP trunks to 2 Opt.11's, 2 BCM 400 4.0's (a third in the works), 1 BCM 400 3.5, 1 BCM 400 3.6 and 2 BCM 50's.
For the first 5 years of my career I worked for a small CLEC in KCMO, then moved to York,PA and that's when I really got into Nortel. Until that point I had worked on it but sparingly, I also unfortunately worked on several Vodavi's . |
