| On the Intuity, voice mail is very difficult to save for any extended period of time. Each user has a delete key (*d) and if the recipient chooses to delete a message it is gone. There is no recovery. There is a log that shows a message was received, listened to and then deleted, but that is all. You also have finite resources in the computer both in disk size and in the number of subscribers you are allowed. If someone leaves and you do not remove them from the Intuity, eventually you will not be able to add anybody new. The messages themselves are not backed up in any way because that function is not part of the Intuity. Bottom line, my employer does not do anything with voice mail. Email yes, voice mail no. __________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup. Marty |
