| You really do not need to change the COS. Just go to the second page of the subscriber screen and change the retention times for new, old and/or unopened. I keep everyone at 10 days. If someone business travels, I'll extend the new and old to the needed number of days. I will then change it back to 10 days after they return and have had time to listen to the message. The COS will then change to "custom."
Your Audix probably only has so much space so to keep it fair, I keep everyone at the same level. I do have a few exceptions to the rules depending on VP status or need. The tip is to get people to delete old/unneeded messages to keep space freed up in the system |
