| Full function operator is reserved for digital extension DBC3214 or DBC 4224. Cordless can't be used as an operator position. You ca use PBX group functionality (to enable call queue) but that's all...handling of calls will be difficult (to receive queued call, you have to finish with ongoing call, etc.). My advice is to use digital extension (above type) for operator because it will save you and customer of lots of problems.
With your second question, I can't see any problen for DECT to use digital trunks or i haven't understand your question...can you please post more info?
