So...I'm installing a RightFax enterprise faxserver into my server farm. I'm connecting it up to my Altigen (AltiOffice3G) via T1/E1 card and a Brooktrout digital fax board.

So far, I'm able to get the faxboard to dial to the Altigen just fine...but then rather than place an outside call, the T1 ports attached to the faxboard attempt to dial my operator extension.

I'm sure I'm just missing some basic routing or board configuration. I'll let you know as I progress in this project and what I come up with to make this easier for any of you contemplating the same thing.
