I agree with the OP in the case of most hurricanes. And I agree with it in its spirit. Buck up and work. However, the destruction caused by Katrina is a little different. When the snow melts, your homes are still there. When the water receeded, theirs weren't.
Still...one wonders what the outcome would have been if the attitude had been different. |
