| Just some clarification for those following along: I have a NEC 2400, a ShoreTel PBX and a telco PRI. The telco lines come into the NEC as route 1. The NEC and ShoreTel connect together via route 20 (the 24PRTB-A). I can make calls from the NEC to the ShoteTel and vice versa. If an external call comes to the NEC I can pass (transfer, forward, conf, etc.) to the ShoreTel. If a call comes to the ShoteTel (via the telco line on the NEC) I can pass (transfer, forward, conf, etc.) it back to the NEC but not to an external number (the telco PRI on route 1). If I am on the ShoreTel I can call an NEC extension, answer it and transfer it to an external number and then hang up and the call still works. The only connection the ShoreTel has is the NEC route 20 mentioned above. |
