This has worked for me before, not always though

From a 7310

Change system date to 8/19/99
Dial Feature 9**
Press left softkey 5 times
Press middle softkey 6 times
Press right softkey 8 times
Press Hold (maybe twice)
Press 2 key
Press 1 key

you can also open the unit up and short out the capacitor
