| How are you trying to log on the system? If you are using a phone set, are you sure it is set as the programming phone? If you are using a phone you should not be asked for a password to perform changes. If you are using a program such as WinSpm, the password is set by the user during the initial setup. To change an extension number you need to do the following:
1. Go to system program
2. Go to exit (Depending on release, it may be next)
3. Go to Sys Renumber
4. Go to single
5. Go to extension
6. Enter old number
7. Enter new number
If the number you want to change the extension to is being used the system will not let you change. You must change the number you want to use to something else first. |
