I have an IPS 2000 system with Dterm series i 16D phones. I am having trouble doing two things with setting up a new extension. I first setup the new extension in Matworx and assigned it to a Len. I saw that Matwork automatically filled in a memory location and I accepted it. I then copied the softkeys from another extension and changed the relevent buttons to the current phones extension. Everything works except two things.

1. The message button on the phone doesn't go to voicemail. It is set in Matworx to speed dial F1118, which goes to our voicemail extension. However the button does nothing when pressed except beep. I have tried deleting the button in Matworx and reassigning it and it still does nothing. Half the time when I make a change in the buttons and click the write button it tells me nothing has changed even though I changed it. Eventually it works with retrying many times. Voicemail is setup and works fine if we manually dial into it. I have also tried manually assigning the message button to a speed dial through the phone using the Conf -message-ext-conf key sequence. That did not work either. Is this a memory assignment problem and Matworx assigned a memory location that can't be written to for some reason? How do I fix? Please be specific as I'm not very familiar with using MOC or the cmd codes.

2. The second problem is I can't program a huntgroup for the second line in Matworx. It keeps telling me it can't save the changes. I open the hunt group module in Matworx and select the pilot which is the primary extension and then I add both the real extension and then the virtual extension for line 2. This is how it is setup for every other phone in the office. However when I go to write the change it says it can't. Is this problem related to number one or is this a Matworx doesn't work issue?
