Question #1 having trouble upgrading BCM 400 from 3.7 to 4.0, tried uploading 3 times, first time I was able to get through maintenance check and then it gave a flag of unable to accept keycodes that were down loaded from Nortel site, it was a return value 7, 2nd try it gave a FTP server cannot be started contact support for resolution, 3rd try failure to tranfer files to BCM.
Question #2 have GASM 8 that will not stop initializing (green lite on the right will not stop flashing. Switch is a BCM 400 with 1000e expansion shelf. 2 DSMs and 2 DTMs in BCM 400 and 1 DSM in 1000e expasion shelf.I install GASM 8 in ex. shelf and after 3 or 4 minutes of initializing it affects the DTM 1 and sends the trunk module into failure. Have checked dip switches on all modules 3 times. Remove GASM 8 and switch works fine. Placed GASM 8 in BCM 100 in our office and analog module works fine. Do not need enhanced features to operate. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
