| This is where something like Symposium is good because by using an incoming digit conversion you can take the DNIS digits provided and route the call to an ACD group or skillset. For instance, if I have a toll free number, 1800-555-5555 and I set the DNIS for that number to 5555, I can then put an entry in the switch that takes any call with that DNIS(5555) and routes it to any DN, CDN, Call Pilot app, etc you want.
So, your not really seeing the digits dialed per se, but you are seeing a representation of that number in the form of an acd group or skillset, etc when the call is routed. |
