| See, you have a plan. I never spent much time in Boston, so my big touring was a Sunday afternoon/early evening down by Faneuil Hall and seeing the Liberty Bell. Unfortunately, while walking around, I noticed that a certain man always kept ending up not far from me, and was always eager to to make eye contact. I guess in some situations that's not bad, but it gave me the creeps. Every time I'd think I'd given him the slip, he'd appear. I'd step into a bar or a shop thinking I'd lose him, and when I'd come out, I'd see him walking a little ways behind me again. Once, I didnt see him for awhile and thought he'd left, only to see him step out from between 2 buildings and smile at me. I was parked in a large multi level parking garge on the 5th floor and knew that going in there by myself was not a good idea; of course there were no cops around, so I waited until a good sized group of middle agers was heading into the garage and asked if I could walk with them, because of the creep. Luckily, they, too, were parked on the 5th floor. Once I got in my truck and locked the doors, I felt better, but as I drove out of the garage, guess who was waiting by the exit? He smiled and waved. Ruined my day in Boston; hope yours is better. |
