Once you enter the programming mode the first number of the program you want to be in is controlled by pushing the line keys on the phone.

The line keys are the buttons on the phone that have the led lights in them, read from left to right, top to bottom.

So to enter program 4-12 you would push line key 4 (LK4) on the phone then dial 12 on the dial pad.

The first 2 digits on the display refer to which port you are programming.

you c`an press the CONF key to scroll through the ports on the system, or use the * key to move the cursor to the port field and change the number manually.

The transfer key works differently depending on which program you are in. In program 4-12 the transfer key moves you from button to button within a specific phone (port).

Pressing the transfer key also stores any changes made while in a paticular program.

The programming can be quite confusing, especially if you have never done it through the phone before.

I would reccomend paying a tech from a local dealer to show you the basics until you're more familiar with how it all works.
