| This is what I do:
Powering down
Switch off the Base cabinet
Then switch off each expansion cabinet one by one
Powering up
Make sure all the Expansion cabinets are off
Switch on the Base cabinet
Then in sequence, switch on the first expansion cabinet one by one, each within the space of about 2 seconds
The reason is because if you switch on all the cabinets at once, (using the Base cabinet to control it) there will be a huge inrush of current which could kill the Base cabinet's power supply. Or might even blow a fuse.
