We had a bloke sue the town for a similar thing, but for his case it was a "mobile handicaped" sign.
Cops picked it up (it was on a small concrete stand) and moved it in front of his car.
He got off by taking the snap of it, Judge relized that the lines painted for handicaped were supposed to be blue (like the sign) not yellow (like all the other spots)
