They started testing the diesels in 2005 up here. Not a load test but they measure the density of the exhaust some how. good thing is, if you manage to register your vehicle at 5000 kg you don't have to test as it bumps you up just enough to be out of the testing band. Unfortunaly, your insurance goes up a little (but could be worth paying just to not have to wait in a 30 - 60 minute line up when going for testing and to relieve the stress of the passing the test or not). |
